My first time at Cappel's I needed brake repair. They did a great job. I asked them to check more on the engine. I did not need an oil change, but was concerned about the general condition of it. They did a thorough and thoughtful review explaining condition, future needs and costs. We developed a plan that was cost effective. Since then I have used their company for general maintenance and upkeep. Again, they check all possible issues and give me enough information to make decisions that keep my car in top condition as well fit my budget. I highly recommend these professionals

I really thought i needed a new alternator. After I installed a new battery in the rain on my way to work, I didn't install it correctly. They saved me a bunch of money in repairs I didn't need. Super thankful. Highly recommend.

Had a bad sound on rear tires, took it to cappels to check. Jim got me right in and discovered I needed new rotars and pads. Fix them on the spot. Well done and thanks to his mechanics!!

Melissa rocks! Great customer service and seems to be even a better person. I was stranded in Rochelle because of a flat tire. Melissa ordered the tires and was very fair with me. Because it was late in the day gave me hotel and restaurant recommendations, plus a loaner car for the night. Very professional thank you!

I had a great experience starting with the call. She explained everything thoroughly so it made me comfortable to choose them. The owner drove me to work and picked me up so my break job could be done, which was a huge impression on me. I didn't have to worry how I was going to drop my car off and get back to work or how I was going to get my car back. The owner was so friendly which made my experience with this shop even better. I had all four breaks and rotors done and my breaks are working like new again. I will definitely use them again. I would recommend you call them!

Took truck in for an alignment after having all suspension work done a week prior. Only took it there cause I didn't have the machine to do it myself as a certified mechanic. I brought it in as soon as they opened and was told it would only be an hour or 2. I called back at 11 am and was told they haven't even got to it yet. I called again hours later and was told the desk lady walked around it and said my parts were worn and they needed to fix it before they could do what I asked. When I asked what parts where bad they just said not sure it just looks that way. I came and got my keys and took it to a shop in Oregon and they said there was no issues and did it for 50 bucks less then they wanted. Place is a joke.

Great place for car care!! I was recently there for some repair on my car which required 3 to 4 hours. I was offered a loaner car which made the wait much less painful. I was able to leave and run errands around town for most of the wait time!! My car was fixed within the time estimate given and I am so pleased now with the way it handles.

Traveling with 4 grandkids and our tire alert came on. Stopped at Love’s and asked about tire repair. They suggested Cappel’s. They got our van right in. Grandkids had free WiFi and were happy. Tired was repaired and minutes and we were back on the road again. Thank you! 👍🏼

I thought the price for the battery was high. But, then again everything has gone up. They're good people and didn't charge me for labor.

I had appointment they were 40 min late did not communicate till very end to share other issues
